1. Our position
Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is prohibited on Flirt HQ without exception. That includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), any attempt to use the app to groom, solicit, sexualise or pursue a minor, and any request for coaching on a conversation involving someone under 18.
There is no tolerance threshold here and no context in which it is permitted. An account found to be involved in it is removed, and where the law requires it we report to the relevant authorities.
2. What the app is, and is not
Flirt HQ is a coaching tool for adults. You give it a conversation you are already having on another platform, and it suggests how to reply.
It is worth being precise about the shape of the service, because it determines where risk can and cannot arise:
- There are no other users inside Flirt HQ. No profiles, no messaging, no feed, no matching, no way to see or contact another person through the app.
- Nothing you submit is shared with anyone else. It is sent to the model that produces your coaching and is not stored.
- The app does not connect to your dating accounts and never sends a message on your behalf.
So Flirt HQ cannot be used to contact a minor, and it holds no user-to-user content that could be distributed. The risk we design against is someone under 18 using the app, or an adult seeking coaching on a conversation with someone under 18.
3. How we prevent it
Adults only. Flirt HQ is intended solely for people aged 18 or over. You confirm your age when you set the app up, and confirming you are under 18 closes the app permanently on that device.
Distribution is age-restricted. The app is published to an 18+ audience only, and we ask the app stores to withhold it from accounts they identify as belonging to minors.
The coach stops. The coaching model operates under a written doctrine with hard limits. One of them is absolute: if anything in a conversation suggests that either person may be under 18, it stops coaching that conversation entirely rather than continuing with caution. It will not produce a reply, a read, or an opener.
No sexual content. The doctrine forbids writing sexually explicit messages at all, for any user. It also forbids coaching anyone to pressure, deceive, or pursue someone who has withdrawn interest.
Accounts we believe belong to minors. Our Terms allow us to suspend or delete any account we believe belongs to someone under 18, along with its data, without notice.
4. How to report a concern
In the app: open Settings and tap Report a child safety concern. It opens a message addressed to us, already marked so it is not lost among ordinary support.
By email: write to support@flirtheadquarters.com with "Child safety report" in the subject.
You do not need an account to report, you do not need to be the person affected, and you do not need to be certain. Tell us what you saw and we will look into it. If you are reporting something you believe is happening on another platform, please also report it there, because they hold the account and the content and we do not.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. We cannot intervene in real time.
5. What happens to a report
Every report is read by a person. We aim to acknowledge within one business day and to act as quickly as the report warrants, prioritising anything that suggests a child is at risk.
Depending on what we find, we may remove the account and its data, block further access, and preserve what is necessary to assist an investigation. Where the law requires it, we report to the relevant national authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and equivalent bodies in other jurisdictions, and we cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
We do not store the conversations or screenshots users submit, so in most cases there is no historical content for us to examine. We say this plainly because it shapes what we can and cannot do: we can act on an account, and we can act on what a report contains, but we cannot retrieve material that was never kept.
6. Point of contact
Questions about these standards, our CSAM prevention practices, or compliance — including from regulators, app stores and law enforcement — should go to support@flirtheadquarters.com, which reaches the person responsible for child safety at Flirt HQ.
These standards are reviewed as the app changes. See also our terms and privacy policy.
