1. From inside the app
This is the fastest route and it needs nothing from us:
- Open Flirt HQ.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
- Confirm.
Deletion happens straight away. It is not a request queued for review, and there is no waiting period or grace period — once it runs, the account is gone and we cannot restore it.
2. Deleting some data, keeping your account
You do not have to choose between all and nothing. Coach Memory — the life facts you have chosen to save so the coach can reference your actual life — can be cleared on its own, and your account, coaching history and academy progress are untouched by it.
- Delete one saved fact. Settings → Manage what it remembers, then remove any single entry.
- Delete all saved memory. Same screen, Delete all. It asks once, then removes every saved fact in one operation.
- Turn Coach Memory off. Settings → Coach Memory. Nothing further is saved, and the coach stops drawing on it.
Each of these takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. If you want something removed that is not covered here, write to support@flirtheadquarters.com and say what you want gone.
3. If you have already uninstalled
If you linked an email address to your account, write to support@flirtheadquarters.com from that same address, and say you want your account deleted. Sending it from the linked address is how we confirm the account is yours — we will not act on a request to delete an account from someone who cannot show it belongs to them.
We will confirm once it is done. We aim to complete requests within 30 days of receiving them, and in practice it is usually the same day.
4. If you never linked an email
Flirt HQ works without an account. If you used it that way and never linked an email, the record we hold carries no name, no email address and nothing else that identifies you — just a random identifier your phone kept a copy of.
This has a consequence worth being straight about: once the app is removed from your phone, that identifier is gone, and neither you nor we can connect the remaining record back to you. There is nothing for us to look up and no way to verify a claim on it. What is left holds nothing that points at a person.
So if you still have the app installed, use the in-app route in section 1 while you can — it is the only way to remove that record deliberately.
5. What gets deleted
Everything we hold that is tied to the account, removed in one operation — with one exception, set out in Section 6:
- The account itself, and any email address linked to it
- Your onboarding answers — goal, texting style, what you find hard
- Usage records: which features you used, when, and how many tokens each call cost
- Anything you saved to coach memory
- Your conversation DNA scores
- Your academy progress, streaks and rep log
- Your dating blueprint and any weekly reviews
- Your subscription record, if you have one
Your screenshots and conversations are not on this list, because they were never stored in the first place. They are passed to the coaching model to answer the request and are not written to our database at any point. There is nothing of them to delete.
6. What is not affected
Crash reports. If the app crashes, a stack trace goes to Sentry. It carries no IP address, no device identifier, no screenshot and no text from the app, and it is not linked to your account — so it cannot be looked up by account and there is nothing there to remove on request.
Billing records. If you ever bought a subscription, the purchase itself sits with Apple or Google, not with us. Delete your Flirt HQ account and that transaction record still exists with the store, which is required to keep it. Cancelling a subscription is done in the App Store or Play Store, and deleting your account here does not cancel it.
Support emails. If you have written to us, that correspondence lives in our email. Ask and we will delete it too.
Your free allowance count. Free coaching actions are counted against your device rather than your account, so that the allowance means one allowance however many times the app is installed. That count is kept when you delete your account, and it has to be: if deletion cleared it, deleting your account would be the way to refill the free tier and counting it would be pointless.
It is worth being exact about what that record is, because "we keep something" deserves detail rather than reassurance. It is a row holding a number — how much of the allowance has been used — against a code derived from your device with a key only we hold. It is not linked to your account, it does not survive a factory reset, it holds nothing about what you did or what you sent, and it cannot be turned back into anything that identifies you or your phone. See the privacy policy for how that code is produced.
